The Kidney Foundation is pleased to announce that through your kind and generous donations, we have completed a very successful canvass of Fort Frances, Couchiching, and Alberton ($8,500).
This year’s theme of “Celebrating the Miracles” has been possible through the assistance of those like you who have made these miracles possible.
Your ongoing support of the Kidney Foundation and its vital initiatives—through donations and volunteerism—continues to be the lifeblood of our organization!
To quote Gov.-Gen. Adrienne Clarkson, kidney disease continues to affect too many Canadians and the need for public education, early intervention, and ongoing research remains urgent. Meanwhile, wonderful work and thrilling results are being achieved.
The Kidney Foundation and its supporters continue to provide millions of dollars to aid research and treatment efforts, and to offer services to patients.
This would not be possible without the major role played by the zone captains, canvassers, support of the service clubs, and the generosity of the communities.
