Dear editor,
Your recent article “Federal government looks to unlock critical mineral development in northern Ontario” ….. could not be more timely, given little Donnie’s threat to immediately slap a 25 per cent tariff on Canadian goods when he takes office in January 2025. Fights with a loyal friend and trading partner totally unlike China or even Mexico surreptitiously bringing cheap Chinese electric cars into the North American market is the last way to treat a loyal friend that is the major trading partner of some 26 states in the union. Canada can just as easily offer her precious metals to friendly NATO partners in western Europe than to Uncle Sam. I never thought I would live to agree with Conservative premier Ford, but cutting off Ontario electricity to Michigan and New York will show we are serious about the narcissist psychotic little Donnie’s allegations that Yankees are subsidizing the Canadian economy to the tune of 100 million dollars.
