Dear editor:
To all the readers of this fine paper, I would like to express what the sacred Scriptures say about marriage as God instituted it.
In Genesis 2:24 we read, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh.”
Furthermore, in Mark 10:9, Jesus says, “What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.”
I believe we do well to seriously listen to, and adhere, to these precepts.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”
As Almighty God has not changed the covenant of the day and night, so He has not changed the covenant of marriage.
