Congrats

Dear Mr. Editor:
On behalf of the “Curl For Cancer” committee, I would like to congratulate Tom Fry on his recent volunteer award.
Tom generously has donated his time and promoted this annual event for the last six years. He also provided a free-of-charge curling clinic for all beginners the first year.
We all were so good, Tom, we needed no further training.
Thanks to Tom’s knowledge of curling, his commitment to the cause, and his determination, this year’s event once again was deemed a success as $10,700 was donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
An additional $300 was donated to the “Care Close to Home” campaign provided by an in-house 50/50 draw.
Congratulations, Tom. Thanks for all your help. It truly is a pleasure working with you. The event would never have been possible without you.
