This letter is in response to trustee Ron McAlister’s comments stated on CFOB’s news on Wednesday, April 4.
First of all, both of my children attend Alberton Central School, which is now under review for closure. Mr. McAlister stated that knowing the concerns of Alberton’s parents, the board cannot do what is good for just one group of students.
Whose children are really benefiting when you’re taking out an enormous loan for one school and allocating all other district schools’ monies for the next 20-25 years to pay it off!
Uprooting our students at such a critical time in their learning years, in my opinion, is not what is best for them.
