Dear editor:
Oct. 19-25 is Canadian Foster Family Week, which is dedicated to honouring the foster families in Kenora-Rainy River Districts.
Foster families are essential and without the constant care and commitment our families provide, we would not be able to offer the protection that some children in our districts desperately need.
Foster parenting is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling jobs a family can undertake. I would like to thank the dedicated foster parents and their families that give of themselves and their time with children in need.
These individuals deserve recognition and great thanks for the work that they do.
Kenora-Rainy River Districts Child and Family Services commends our foster families and recognizes the invaluable role they play in providing services to the children in our communities.
