Coalition wrong

Michael J. Baranowski

Dear editor:
When I was old enough to vote, my choice was the CFF. Later on, I switched to the Liberal Party.
Then was turned off with them and went to the NDP, which was my choice up until the coalition incident.
We supported the NDP on a monthly basis, which was affordable to us. But the NDP joining hands with the Bloc and the Liberals was not favourable to us at all.
We put our ballot with the NDP hoping someday they would be in power to govern Canada as the prime minister, but not coming in the back door to gain their power that way.
The Liberal Party had its worse showing in their history in the Oct. 14 election while the Bloc Quebecois—a party that tried to break from Canada, I believe, a couple of times—surely is not the coalition threesome running our country, and God forbid if they do.
With the economic crisis at this time, the three parties, along with our governing party, the Conservatives, should join hands in finding a way to rectify this situation before it gets out of hand.
With this assumption, we will discontinue supporting the NDP and either will throw our support with the Conservatives—or not vote at all.
Signed,
Michael J. Baranowski
