Club comeback

Jim Sheppard

Dear Mr. Editor:
The International Early Iron Car Club is pleased to receive approval from the Town of Fort Frances to again host our Scott Street “Show ’n Shine.”
After a one-year absence, the club is planning a comeback show for June 9 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
There will be a good display of cars and trucks from the 1920s to today. It will be an opportunity to have your picture taken with any of these vehicles, so bring your kids and Gramma down for the day.
As well as a food booth (to support our annual high school bursary), we are encouraging all Scott Street businesses to participate in the day with special sales and displays.
We look forward to everyone coming down and enjoying car history.
It is not necessary to be a member of our club to participate. We would encourage anyone in the area who has a project—finished or being worked on—to put their car or truck on display at our show.
To kick off our “Show ’n Shine,” Fort Frances High School will host its car show June 8 from 1-3 p.m.
As you know, we took our show on the road last year.
Because of the warm reception from Emo, Barwick, and Rainy River, we will be visiting these communities again this year.
