Dear editor:
On the morning of Dec. 28, I was shopping at Wal-Mart, came home, and discovered I had left my purse at the store in a shopping cart.
In a panic, I went back and was told by Customer Service that no one had turned in my purse. I didn’t know what to do, so I called the manager and, to my surprise, he said someone had turned it in to them.
After identifying the purse, they told me it was a lady who had turned it in. She did not leave her name so I couldn’t thank her or reward her as there was a lot of money in my purse, as well as my personal cards and stuff.
I was so relieved as I was going shopping to Duluth that afternoon. If you see this, please call so I can thank you personally. In my view, you truly are an angel.
It is so nice to know there are truly honest people in our town.
(Signed),
