Dear sir:
We have enjoyed the Fort Frances Times as our source of local and community news and events for many years. Therefore, our family was shocked at the brazen ads, including lewd photographs, for “Ladies Nite Out” and “Canadian Playboyz” (June 2 and 9) which left nothing to the imagination.
How far have we slid into moral decline, as a “family-friendly” community paper, that we have to stoop this low? Where are the parents who should stand up and protect family values?
Events like these do not promote healthy family relationships. Is this really an honest reflection of the “interests of the Town of Fort Frances and the Rainy River District?” It’s certainly not ours!
The consequences of such behaviour are far-reaching.
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
