Bravo!

Dear editor:
This past weekend, Fort Frances was privileged to host the Ontario high school girls’ soccer championships.
I want to commend our local team for their determination and great sportsmanship. They played their first two games in such poor weather. The level of expertise shown by all the teams was amazing. I was well-entertained by all the games.
Accolades also to all the members of the organizational committee. It takes many people to put together a top-notch production and everyone did a great job! You can surely be proud of the end result.
To Struchan Gilson and his crew who prepared the fields–bravo!
If there was one area for improvement, I would have to say the community turnout could have been much better. It’s not often our town has the opportunity to have this kind of level of competition and entertainment free of charge.
Those who were unable to attend sure missed out!
Once again, thanks to all the organizers, their committees, and volunteers. It was a weekend to be proud of!
