Big thanks

Dear editor:
The FFHS band and the Muskie track-and-field team would like to extend a big thanks to the community for supporting the “Beat the Band” 5K run/walk and the kids’ 1K on Saturday.
Although the weather wasn’t favourable, we want to thank each and every runner or walker who came out to run or walk on a cool, rainy day.
You helped to make the event a success, and showed support of fitness and healthy lifestyle choices in our community.
For all the parents and teachers who supported their children in the kids’ 1K race, it was great see some many children out running on race day!
We also would like to thank our sponsors who helped in many of their own individual ways—all to help ensure that this day was a success.
We also would like to thank our volunteers who helped out on race day, and those who helped out in the weeks leading up to the race.
We hope to see you at the races next year.
