Once again the little Town of Rainy River showed the district how to throw a party.
“Railroad Daze” was a roaring success thanks to the effort and dedication of a super bunch of volunteers. The parade, the ball tournament, big tent entertainment, games, rides, the family night and the kids’ magic show were all just superb.
At the 7th-annual Great Beaver Cardboard and Duct Tape Boat Races, we had over 20 entries and they showed what a roaring, splashing good time you can have on our splendid waterways on a budget of just about nothing. Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and participants who made it a safe and memorable family event.
