Dear editor:
Fort Frances, what is going on?
Our town council has deemed that rather than take the next runner-up to fill the vacant seat of Tannis Drysdale, they will put the town to the expense of another election.
It would be necessary if the position had no one to fill it. But Ken Perry was good enough to run a year ago, yet now he is to be passed by.
I have been a taxpayer in this town for 67 years. I do not believe in wasting money that could be spent on the betterment of many projects which come before the town.
Come on, councillors, do the right thing—appoint the next in line. I believe it’s Mr. Perry.
