A real disservice

Dear editor:
Well, we just heard of another letdown for the people in our community.
Greyhound Bus Lines has applied to discontinue its run from Fort Frances to Thunder Bay effective May 4.
This bus runs five days a week. Why don’t they down scale to two-or three trips a week and have compassion for people who need this service. People will have to reschedule appointments with doctors—and end up waiting months for a new one.
And there is concern for the surrounding areas, such as the van that brings people in to use this service from Emo.
Our community has lost other essential services, but this one is not fair. We surely need our MPs and MPPs to support us in this matter. And I do hope they read this letter.
Please sign the petition that is circulating in Fort Frances to help the people who need this service.
