Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas

I can hardly believe how quickly 2013 has come full circle and we are once again bustling around to finish our shopping in preparation for Christmas festivities.
Like most people, I feel particularly grateful for the love and support of my family and friends at this time of year, and it reminds me of just how much of a “team effort” living truly is.
Throughout the year, I speak with hundreds of individuals and families who, like all of us at different points in our lives, are facing very difficult challenges.
As we work together to find answers to their problems, I’m always touched by the strength and perseverance, sense of humour, and family support I so often witness during these meetings.
Aside from reminding me of the personal support team I have behind me, this reaffirms my goals as your MPP—to work with you to improve the quality of life for everyone here in Northwestern Ontario.
It is my sincere wish that everyone is able to take some time away from life’s everyday challenges this Christmas; to spend time with their loved ones, doing nothing but enjoying the most basic and wonderful things the season has to offer.
Whether that is having fun in the great NWO outdoors, sitting around the fire with loved ones, or playing with all the new toys the kids got from Santa, Christmas is about spending time with family and friends.
My staff and I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas—filled with all the people and things that bring wonderful joy to your lives!
