Fall is definitely just around the corner, with that comes the start up of several events.
The Emo Legion will start its Senior’s bowling on Thursday, September 4.
Beer and Burger resumes Friday, September 5.

Guthrie United Church resumes Sunday, September 7, at 10 a.m.
Followed by Knox United Church, having services in Emo on Sunday, September 14.
A reminder that The Fugitives Dance Band will perform at the Emo Legion, on Saturday, September 13, From 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Emo Legion. This group has played at the Legion previously and was enjoyed by many.

The Grand Opening of the Dance Hall walleye fish fry was enjoyed by over 200 people. The meal was delicious as was the visiting. Hats off to all the volunteers.
The Dance Hall is available to rent with comparable prices as other facilities that are available for rent. Call Tanya Smith at 807-629-6737 (after 5 p.m.) if you require more information.
A lovely bridal shower was hosted for Nicole Beadle on Sunday, August 24. The shower was enjoyed by all attending. Nicole and Eric Olson will wed September 6, with many happy, family and friends attending to share their happy day!
Cassidy McKinnon was honoured with a bridal shower on August 24, with many family and friends attending. James was away attending his bachelor party over the weekend.
Cassidy and James Blattner will wed September 20.
Our community sends a happy 75th birthday to Bob Badiuk. Bob reached this milestone birthday on August 22, 2025. A family supper was enjoyed to celebrate this occasion. Sending you wishes for many more birthdays and good health!

A happy 60th birthday going out to Mark VanHeyst. Mark celebrated this birthday on August 20, 2025. A birthday party was held to celebrate this happy occasion. Organizers tried to make it a surprise… but that didn’t happen.
