Shypit-Morrison places first in Casting for Cash

Cory Shypit and Paul Morrison placed first at the Castin’ For Cash tournament this weekend. They set a two day record with a 35.2 pounds of fish caught. Lots of big fish were caught throughout the weekend. This was the twentieth year of this tournament.

Sympathy to the family and friends of Annie Holborn. This vivacious lady lived over 101 years. She lived in Rose Manor up to a few months ago. She will be sadly missed by the Holborn and Shine families.

The Municipal Office in LaVallee is now open to the public. Only one person will be allowed inside at a time and masks are mandatory. Phone calls are still encouraged if you require help from the Municipality

Congratulations to Tyrell Griffith on his new role as Joint Fire Chief for the Townships of LaVallee, Alberton, Emo and Chapple. Tyrell has been an active member of the LaVallee Fire Department and will now serve as the new Joint Fire Chief.

With the nice weather approaching, many residents would like to see the Devlin ballpark opened. Please stay tuned for updated information on the opening of the Ball Park.
