Redrum Motorcycle Club makes donation to Emo Food Bank

The Redrum MC Treaty 3 Chapter made a donation of $4,000 to the Emo Food Bank on Sunday, December 14. Redrum MC Treaty 3 recently held a raffle with the proceeds being donated to the Emo Food Bank. Charlene graciously thanked the three members that handed her the donation, plus all their fellow members and everyone involved with the raffle for their generosity. She shared, “Our community is lucky to have such generous people living in it!”

The LaVallee Municipal Office will be closed December 24, 2025, to January 1, 2026. Regular hours resume January 2.  

Landfill hours for the holiday season are as follows: closed December 25 and January 1. 

Regular hours December 27 and 30.

The Emo Knox United Church, with the support of the Emo Senior’s Centre and New Gold, are offering a free frozen Turkey Dinner Takeout or delivery, to the west end of the district. Call Coleen at 482-2280 to order a meal. 

The Beer and Burger held Friday evening, December 12, at the Emo Legion ended with Glenda Belluz and Nancy Witherspoon winning the meat draws. 

Students from the Rainy River District school boards last day of school is this Friday, December 19, and school resumes Tuesday, January 6. 

Huge congratulations are in order for the 14 Chapple, Emo and LaVallee members that passed their FireFighter Practical and written Exam last month: Glenn Dale, Simon Dyck, Luke Esselink, Teagan Friesen, Cassie Lalonde, Jeffrey Judson, Fletcher Klug, Mackenzie Mahon, Jason Mathews, Mathew Penner, Jarid Sandelovich, Andre Valenzuela, Jason Wiersema, and Ben Winik.
