The Senior Of The Year nominations are drawing to a near. Every year the Township of LaVallee nominations a local individual as Senior of the Year.

The township is asking the residents of the Township to nominate someone they think deserves this award. The Senior of the Year has to be a resident of our Township, has to be sixty five or older. Someone who has made our community a better place to live through volunteering etc. Send nominations, a brief description to why you chose this person and a bit about how they made our community a better place.

Nominations have to be received at the a Municipal office no later than March 31st. For more information feel free to call the Municipal office at 486-3452.

Sincere sympathy, and concern to the family and friends of Todd Baker. He was a friendly, genuine man. His love of family, friends and community has obvious by the many lives we touched. He will be sadly missed.

Sincere caring thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Ron Bridgeman. Ron always has a smile and a hello for everyone. He was a family man who took great pride in that role. Ron will be greatly missed by the Lake Despair family.

May all those grieving the loss of these two men gain comfort in knowing the entire District is grieving with you.

The Emo Branch #99 continues to host their Friday night beer and burger for $5. Safe Covid restrictions are in place.

Does anybody have a recipe for “I don’t know” or “I don’t care”? It’s what my family requested for supper and I can’t seem to find that recipe.
