Our community wishes babies, parents and grandparents many blessings with the births of these three babies.

Sadly two long time Emo residents passed recently.

Sympathy to the family and friends of Adelia Guba. Adelia passed December 26. She was a friendly lady, always with a smile and twinkle in her eye.

She will long be remembered by many.

Also sincere sympathy to the many family and friends of Gerald Bullied who passed December 29.

Gerald touched the lives of many family, friends, card players and the district. His love and knowledge of farming was abundant and I’m sure he shared much advice to farmers of all ages. He loved the land, tractors and hard work. A true gentleman that left his mark with a twinkle in his eyes and a smile … never to be forgotten.

Our community sends prayers and concern to the many people grieving the loss of these two fine people.

Happy 50th. birthday to Abby Haver on December 29. Hopefully you celebrated with family and friends.

Also sending 70th. birthday wishes to Ian Booth. Even with Covid Restrictions here’s hoping Ian will enjoy this milestone birthday. Knowing he is admired and cared for by many family members and friends.

With the recent Covid Restrictions put out January 3, the Royal Canadian Emo Legion will be closed until restrictions are lifted.
