Harvest supper on Sunday

The Guthrie United Church Harvest Supper takes place this Sunday (Sept. 29). at the Devlin Hall.

The supper is served from 5-7 p.m.

Ham, turkey, and all the trimmings will be served.

This is always a delicious meal and much enjoyed event.

Adults pay $18, children six-12 years pay $10, and kids five and under eat free.

John has been in the hospital for over a week. He is feeling better.

Our community hopes to see him fully recovered soon.

Sympathy to Paul and Janice Jewiss and their daughters in regards to the passing of Paul’s mother, Beverly.

She passed away earlier this summer.

Beverly lived in Chatham, Ont.

Bingo returns to the Emo Legion Br. #99 on Oct. 1.

Seniors’ carpet bowling is held every Thursday morning at the Legion

The always-enjoyed $5 beer and burger also happens every Friday night at the Legion.

A reminder that the Emo Br. #99 presents Stompin’ Taw Connors. This is a tribute to Taw’s famous father, Stompin’ Tom Connors.

This takes place on Oct. 19, starting at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door.

Caw performed earlier this year. It was a sold-out event. You might want to purchase advance tickets as its likely to sell out.
