The second-edition “Further Connections” is expected to arrive this week at the La Vallee municipal office.
Several books already have been sold, and they will be mailed out in both Canada and the U.S. as soon as they arrive.
This book would make an excellent Christmas present for people of all ages.
Call the municipal office (486-3452) to purchase one.

Robin’s 2¢:
An older couple is lying in bed one morning after awakening from a good night’s sleep.
He takes her hand but she responds, “Don’t touch me.”
“Why not?” he asked.
“Because I’m dead,” she answered.
“What are you talking about,” said the husband. “We’re both lying here in bed together and talking to one another!”
“No, I’m definitely dead,” the wife insisted.
“What in the world makes you thing you’re dead?” pressed the husband.
“Because I woke up this morning and nothing hurts,” she replied.
