Final barn concert coming up next Thursday

The final barn concert for the season will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Cornell Farms.

Ragged Road will perform. This group of five gentlemen are up-and-coming in the scene. They were the featured band in Dryden this summer.

The group also makes there home in Dryden.

Those attending will hear a variety of music and songs from rock, indie, country, metal, blues, and folk.

Tickets are $15 advanced and $20 at the door.

The August 50/50 draw saw Sandy Beadle win $1,195.50.

She was the lucky winner of the Emo Royal Canadian monthly draw.

Les Mose was honoured with a wonderful 80th birthday party on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 24).

The party was well attended, with family and friends.

The Emo Royal Canadian will have a second show featuring Stompin’ Taw Connors. This is a tribute to his legendary father, Stompin’ Tom.

The show is Oct. 19. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.

More information to follow. His first appearance was a sell-out show; you might want to pick up tickets early.
