The hardworking crew of people raising money for the Dance Hall renovations are set to go with a garage sale. The sale takes place this Saturday, June 11 at 384 Hammond Road, the sale is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Congratulations to Emily Bird and Issac Stromness, the couple were wed Saturday June 3 at a beautiful wedding, with weather co-operating.

Sincere sympathy to the families of Nell Holden and Judith Debuc. Sadly this loving mother and daughter passed June 3 and 4. Our district sends all those grieving this sad loss. May you all gain strength in knowing many are holding you in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time.
The RRDAFF Queen Committee is looking for Fair Queen contestants. Call Mary at 271-1586 or Sis at 276-2483. The fair is August 18 to 20 this year.
A reminder that the Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary Strawberry Social is back for everyone’s enjoyment. The social takes place June 10 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The event will take place under a tent at the Emo Hospital.

The last day of school for all students in the District is June 24.
June 17 will be Beer and Burgers at the Emo Legion. This will be the last Beer and Burgers until fall.
There will also be a Country Jam at the Legion on May 17.
On May 18 there will be a dance at the Emo Legion; the music is provided by Dwight Tank. It’s a variety of enjoyable music to dance and listen to.
Admission is $5 at the door for both dances.
