Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Betty Westover. Betty passed Saturday (Oct. 3) after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Many will remember Betty and her many years working at Cloverleaf Grocers. She always had a smile and friendly manner.
Betty worked hard; she loved her children and their families beyond measure. She could be called a spitfire. Betty spent her life in Barwick with a passion for the Blue Knights fastball team. Many of her family members played for this team, and whenever possible, Betty could be found in the bleachers cheering them on. Betty attended a few Blue Jays baseball games in Toronto. Betty loved life, people and sweet treats. She leaves a hole in many hearts, but the many memories she also leaves will be cherished forever.
May those grieving find comfort in knowing that many people are holding you all in our hearts and prayers at this sad time.
