Local residents will be dancing the night away this weekend. The Emo Legion Branch #99 will be hosting Country Jam this Friday (May 13) at the Emo Legion. The dance starts at 7 p.m. and admission is $5.00 which includes a light lunch.
Saturday night there will be a Country Jam at the Barwick Hall. Beginning at 7 p.m. cost is $5.00 which includes a light lunch.
These Country Jams always prove to be a fun time with a large variety of performances. Come out, kick up your heels and enjoy the music.
Happy birthday to Marvin Mose. Marvin turned 70 on May 4. The district sends him all the best for a great year and many more to follow.
Congratulations to Jaimee Whalen and Jeff Robinson on the birth of their son Beckett Ian Nelson, he was born April 22. Proud grandparents are Lennie and the late Connie Mann and Ian and Donna Robinson. Beckett is also welcomed by his three older sisters.

Most people are at the age where they are using their phones to document the good times in their lives. I’m at the age where I use my phone to take pictures of labels that I can’t read and use my phone to enlarge the print so that I can read it.
