Chase away those winter blues!

The Emo Legion Branch #99 offers many events to chase off the “ Winter Blues”. 

Yoga has started and is every Tuesday. 

Bingo is played every Tuesday (starting January 10) at 5:30 p.m. 

Seniors events are every Thursday. 

Beer and Burgers January 13 starting at 5p.m. 

Following Beer and Burger on January 10th. Is George Elliot’s Country Jam.

Happy 90th. birthday to Henry Kaemingh. Henry reached this milestone on Sunday, January 8. 

Henry enjoyed a birthday celebration along with other folks sharing January birthdays, making their homes in Rainy Crest. 

Henry’s son Arnold shared with me that Henry his Dad phoned him every morning and they are likely to talk a few more times during the day.

Also a happy 60th. birthday to Shawn Hyatt. May you enjoy many more birthdays from your family and friends. Shawn’s birthday is January 11. 

Sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Ted Kaemingh. He leaves behind a large loving family, a legacy showing hard work pay off, a commitment to ones church and community makes for fulfilling and blessed life.

Our community welcomes Ashley Stromness and Jared Nickle and their three children to our community.

They have recently purchased a home and we wish them many belly tears in our community.

Lucille MacDonald shared with me that the Crossroads rink has been flooded and is ready for all too enjoy.

Ken Badiuk has been working to see this project through. Volunteers are always appreciated to help clean the rink after a snowfall.
