Access for Residents living in the Municipality of LaVallee to natural gas for heating their homes and water is presently limited to areas close to existing natural gas lines. Various Residents have verbally expressed an interest in having expanded access to natural gas distribution systems. Natural gas lines run through the Municipality on an east to west direction which is similar to the situation in Alberton and Emo. Other requests have been submitted and expanded access has been granted to residents in other Municipalities. If you are interested in having your name added to the list of those that are interested in having access to natural gas you can call Emily Watson at 271-4024 or email her at erwatson@lakeheadu.ca to have your name added. This information will be gathered until the end of April to be able to see what interest there may be.
