With only 10 days left until the draw, tickets are still available for the Emo and District Lions’ “Lions Share Grocery Raffle.”
Tickets are being sold at Cloverleaf Grocery, Walmart and Emo Feed, Hair & Body Shoppe and Tompkins Home Hardware.
Tickets can also be purchased from any member of the Lions Club. First prize is $100/week for a year or in other words $5,200 worth of groceries. Second prize is $500 in groceries, while third prize is $100 in groceries.
Proceeds will go to the Emo food bank and other Emo and District Lions projects.The club’s latest project is helping the municipal council in Devlin with the new playground at the ball diamond on the highway.
Help these Lions make our communities better places to live by purchasing a raffle ticket–or more than one. You just might win some groceries, but you will also help the Lions and our communities. Tickets are only $10.

The Lions Legacy Golf Tournament, presented by the Fort Frances Lions Club and the Fort Frances Voyageurs Lions Club, will be held on Saturday, June 22 starting at 10 a.m. at Heron Landing Golf Course on Couchiching FN.
The cost is $100 each or $400/team, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, and supper. Entries limited to the first 36 paid teams, with the registration deadline being June 6.
Proceeds to go to the homelessness program and the women’s shelter program.
