The Emo Hospital Auxiliary is hosting their annual fall tea, bazaar and bake sale at the Emo Legion on Friday, Oct. 18 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. There will be baking, crafts, draws and a white elephant table.
Donations to the event would be greatly appreciated.
Admission to this annual fundraiser is only $5. Funds raised will go to the Auxiliary’s ongoing projects at the Emo Hospital.
The auxiliary members would like to thank everyone for their generous and continued support of their organization.
Come out, socialize with friends and relatives and help support our local hospital.

There will be a Men’s Fellowship Breakfast at the Emo Legion, Saturday Oct. 19 at 8 a.m.
Come for a delicious breakfast and enjoy some fellowship with old and new friends.
Larry Dyckm owner of Jade Transport in Winnipegm will be the guest speaker. He will be sharing inspirational stories of God and Jade Transport. Men and boys of all ages are welcome. Cost per person is $12.

The Emo and District Lions will once again be hosting their “Hunter’s Dinner” on Nov. 9, 2019 in Barwick at the Barwick Hall.
The cost of the wild meat and fish dinner is only $20. There will a penny table, a live auction, a 50/50 draw, a gun raffle and “Dicey Desserts.”
Happy hour will begin at 5 p.m. with dinner to follow at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available from all Lions members, local businesses or by calling Kent at 276-1946 or Joanne at 271-0941.
Tickets will no doubt go quickly, so pick up yours soon.
Proceeds from the evening will help fund projects in the district.

The next Barwick Country Jam will be on Friday, Oct. 18 in the Barwick Hall, starting at 7 p.m.
The admission is $5 and includes pop and food.
The Emo “Old Time” country jam will be held on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.
The $2 admission helps pay for heat and air conditioning (if we have a heat wave).
