“True Colors,” presented by the Rainy River Figure Skating Club, will be held Saturday, March 11 at 6 p.m. and again Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at the Rainy River Recreation Centre. Advance tickets–available at Beaver Mills, the Rainy River Drug Store, Woods Quality Bakery, and Baudette Ronnings–cost $6 for adults and $4 for children 11 and under while tickets at the door cost $8 and $5, respectively.

Town council will hold its next regular meeting Monday, March 13 at the Civic Centre. It will follow the committee of the whole meeting, which gets underway downstairs at 5:30 p.m.
March Break activities at the Fort Frances Museum include egg-decorating on Tuesday, March 14 ($2 per child or $5 per family) and beading with instructor Linda Guimond on Thursday, March 16 (no charge). Both classes run from 1-3 p.m. and refreshments will be served. Children six and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Pokémon fun will be held Tuesday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at the Fort Frances Public Library (bring your own Pokémon cards or a Nintendo 3DS with a Pokémon video game). Recommended for ages eight-14+.

The Fort Frances Lakers will host the Dryden GM Ice Dogs in their SIJHL regular-season finale on Friday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students.
