The Fort Frances Lakers will host the Thunder Bay North Stars in SIJHL action on Friday, Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for students, and $5 for kids 12 and under, with those under five being free.
The Valley Adult Learning Association is hosting its second “Newcomer Meet-and-Greet” on Saturday, Feb. 16 from noon-3 p.m. at the Little Beaver Cultural Centre (near the landfill site). The Lions Legacy Golf Tournament, presented by the Fort Frances Lions Club and the Fort Frances Voyageurs Lions Club, will be held on Saturday, June 22 starting at 10 a.m. at the Heron Landing (Couchiching).
