The Muskie football team will open training camp today (Aug. 23). It will run from 3:30-6 p.m. until school starts (players should arrive around 2:30-3 p.m. during camp).
Mark LaBelle will perform his one-man show, “Musicomica,” today (Aug. 23) at 7:30 p.m. in the final barn concert of the season at Cornell Farms in La Vallee. Stock car racing action goes Saturday, Aug. 25 at the Emo Speedway, with hot laps at 7 p.m. and the first race at 7:30 (weather permitting). This week’s theme is “Fan Appreciation Night.” Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for seniors/students, with those aged nine and under being free.
The next “Open Air Art Studio,” presented by Community Living Fort Frances and District, is set for Monday, Aug. 27 from 3-7 p.m. at the Front Street Park. The theme will be stick weaving. The session is free, and all ages and abilities are welcome to attend.
