The FMG Ice Dragons Challenge, hosted by the International Boundary Waters Dragon Boat Club, will be held Saturday, Feb. 17 from 3-9 p.m. on the ice by La Place Rendez-Vous. The course is 200 metres long and there will be three divisions: men’s, women’s, and mixed. There are 10 people per team (ages 12+) and the registration fee is $500/team. The fourth-annual John Gibbins Memorial Family Day Fish Derby will be held Monday, Feb. 19 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. from the government dock in Morson. Minnows available on-site. The adult entry fee is $35 prior to 4 p.m. on Feb. 17 and $40 on the day of the event, with it being $5 for kids and $10 for extra holes (two-hole limit).
