Stuff a Cruiser will be held across the District on Saturday, December 4. Local first responders will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Walmart, Safeway, The Place, Cloverleaf Grocery and Beaver Mills Market. All items donated will stay with local food banks.

A candlelight service will be held in observance of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. The Fort Frances Lakers will be holding a toy drive, December 10 from 6-8 p.m. Drop off your new, unwrapped toy at the Memorial Sportsplex lobby before the game! All donations will go to the UNFC Adopt-a-family program.
