The OPP Golden Helmets motorcycle riders will be performing their formation riding in Fort Frances at the Fort Frances Airport on Sunday Sept. 6 getting started at 6 p.m.
The Fort Frances District Labour Council will be holding a labour day celebration at Legion Park on Labour Day, Monday, Sept. 7 12-4 p.m. Bouncy Castle, Corn Hole, Face Painting, food & Drink. In event of rain, the event will take place at ’52 Canadians Arena.
Tour De Fort is holding its Annual General Meeting Wednesday Sept. 9, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the 52 Canadians conference room at Memorial Sports Centre. New board members and volunteers welcome.
There will be a community garage sale at the Memorial Sports Centre on Saturday, Sept. 12 8 a.m. to noon. Vendors wanted, contact the sports centre $10 for 100 sqft. Section including table and two chairs. Registration deadline Sept. 9. Second-hand items only not a sale for new items.

The Fort Frances Time and the Fort Frances Labour Council will be hosting an Election Town Hall on Oct. 1 at the Memorial Sports Centre Auditorium at 6:30 p.m.. All Fort Frances Town Council and Mayoral Candidates will have the opportunity to speak and take some questions from voters.

The La Verendrye General Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop is looking for volunteers. The hours are Monday-Friday, from noon – 3:30 p.m. OPP criminal record check is required. Help is available with this, as well as gift shop training and support. All funds raised go to the Auxiliary to honour our pledges for capital equipment at La Verendrye General Hospital. The Rainycrest Tuck Shop is accepting donations– Great items for donation are things like large stuffed bears, gift items and items for residents to place on their night stands or wall/door. Proceeds from the Tuck Shop go to the Rainycrest Auxiliary, and benefit residents. Donations can be dropped off inside the main entrance, labelled ATTN: Tuck Shop.
