Mean Girls The Musical at Fort Frances High School–The Fort Frances High School production of Mean Girls The Musical runs this weekend. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students available at Northwoods Gallery and Gifts. 7 p.m. closes Saturday evening.

Library seeks red dresses–Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre is seeking red dressis for an MMIWG art installation. Dresses will be hung in trees on the Second St. Side of the Library. Contact the Library to donate or for more information.

This Friday and Saturday at the Fort Frances Curling Club. See what area businesses have to offer. Many free draws and swag to collect. Fri 4-8 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m-4 p.m. Free admission.

Awareness walk for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls–May 2, starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Fort Frances Seniors Centre. It will end at the UNFC, where a luncheon will be held. The event is a cooperative event between the Northwestern Ontario Metis Child and Family Services, the United Native Friendship Centre, and the Women’s Shelter of Hope, with the Sunset Country Metis, Couchiching Fire Department and the Fort Frances Seniors Centre. All are welcome to attend.

Ontario Senior (55+) games–A variety of competitions to get involved with including Pickle Ball, Tennis, Golf, Darts, Billiards and many more. Starting in May, register soon. The Rainycrest Tuck Shop is accepting donations– The Tuck Shop is open to residents, family, staff and visitors. Large stuffed bears, men’s and ladies’ slippers, socks, hats, personal care items and items for residents to place on their night stands or wall/door.
