Duane Hicks Rev. Barb Miller and Randy DeGagne took the plunge in support of the “Knox Renewal Project” yesterday during the Voyageur Lions Club’s annual “Polar Plunge” on Sand Bay. Together, the pair raised $2,588, making them the top fundraising group this year.

People lined up for their plate during the annual community Christmas dinner held Dec. 25 from noon-2 p.m. at the Fort Frances Curling Club. In addition to preparing the buffet, organizers and volunteers also delivered 50 “Meals on Wheels” to those unable to attend the event.
