Stephanie Hagenaars After annoucing earlier this year that he will be retiring in the fall, college president Jim Madder was presented with a Hudson’s Bay Company blanket. Cristal Kinsman, projects officer at the local campus, presented the blanket, which was embroidered with the names of all eight regional campuses.
Duane Hicks Laurie Robinson, chair and executive director of the Indigenous Advanced Education and Skills Council, gave the keynote address at Thursday’s graduation ceremony, noting that one day soon, SGEI will offer its own certificates, degrees, and diplomas.
