‘Seeds of Hope’

Elaine and Jack Allen joined Mary O’Connor, client services co-ordinator for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River Districts, in planting “Seeds of Hope” in the courtyard garden of the Special Care Unit at Rainycrest on Monday morning. The “Forget Me Nots” they planted will bloom there perennially, not only beautifying the courtyard with blue flowers but also to serve as a visual reminder of the many individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. This is the second year the seeds have been planted there.
