Stephanie Hagenaars Over 200 people marched across the International Bridge on Saturday in Borderland Pride’s “Passport to Pride.” Participants walked one mile from International Falls, Mn. to the Civic Centre here where a flag ceremony was held. From there, the party gathered at Rainy Lake Square for a “BBQueer” lunch.
Stephanie Hagenaars Piper Lidkea performed during the “BBQueer” lunch held at the Rainy Lake Square as part of the festivities Saturday afternoon. Lidkea also performed the national anthem in both International Falls and Fort Frances for their respective ceremonies during Borderland Pride’s “Passport to Pride” march.
Stephanie Hagenaars Pharoah Moans gave an enthusiastic performance while reading, “Don’t Touch This Book,” to children and parents at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre on Sunday. The library hosted Drag Queen Story Hour as part of Borderland Pride’s 2018 Pride Week activities.
