From the OPP The Rainy River District OPP located a male from the Fort Frances area safe and sound here late yesterday morning. Thomas Roen Sr., 49, had been last seen Sunday in town. The OPP wishes to thank the public for their assistance.
Staff Hydro One was conducting routine maintenance on the transmission system that serves the Fort Frances area and inadvertently caused a brief power outage yesterday. The supplying Fort Frances went out of service at 11:06 a.m. It was put back into service at 11:13 a.m.—a seven-minute outage.
