Lakers handed tough loss by Miners

Forward Clark Scaddan carries the puck behind the net in the Miners’ end on Saturday night. The game was a tightly-contested affair which was riddled with penalties. The Lakers lost 5-4 but most fans in the building will tell you it should have been at least 5-5 with multiple Lakers goals waved off. The Lakers fought to the end even scoring a goal with just 37 seconds left after the Miners put one into the Lakers’ empty net. The game was the closest score since Interim Head Coach Tyler Miller took over. The next Lakers game is on Friday when they face Dryden at home.
