Volunteer Lisa Brockie sold buttons for the popular “Heads or Tails” game at Saturday’s fundraiser. The game saw competitors guess “heads” or “tails” on successive coin flips, with wrong guesses eliminating players each round. Gary Judson won the 50/50 prize of $620 but donated it back to the Foundation.

Participation was high at this year’s annual cross-country meet at Crossroads School in Devlin on Friday. Runners from schools across Rainy River District enjoyed a brisk fall day as they competed against friends from other schools. Everyone had a great day and most were pleased with their results.
