Katrina Slomke and Jillian Cousineau went hard on their brooms in order to get their rock down the ice during the Muskie girls’ curling rink’s loss to the Rainy River Owls on Monday afternoon at the NorWOSSA championships at the Fort Frances Curling Club. The Owls (4-0) snared gold while the Muskies (3-1) settled for silver as both rinks qualified for the NWOSSAA championships slated for March 3-4 in Thunder Bay.
