A member of the Fort Frances Wolves (Ma’iingan) looked to beat her Kenora Huskies’ opponent to the puck during her squad’s 3-0 win in the Novice Division final Sunday afternoon at the Fort Frances Girls’/Women’s Hockey Association’s Novice and Atom tournaments at the Ice For Kids Arena. The Wolves compiled a 3-1-1 record en route to snaring the gold medal.
