Katrina Koomans looked to fend off her International Falls Broncos’ opponents as Isabella Fortes covered up the puck during the second period of the Muskie girls’ hockey team’s 7-1 loss Monday night at Bronco Arena in the second game of their annual “Border Battle” exhibition series. Fortes finished with 10 saves in her 34-minute relief stint after taking over from Jersey Masson after the first intermission.
