From the OPP
On Jan. 6 around 4:05 p.m., the Kenora OPP was advised of an out building on fire at a residence on Highway 596.
The OPP, along with the Pellatt Fire Department, attended a short time later and were able to extinguish the blaze.
As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old Kenora man was arrested and charged with arson.
He was being held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for yesterday at the courthouse in Kenora.
