Muskie captain Annalise (CC) Hayes was tripped up in her attempt to cut towards Dryden’s goal but it was the black-and-gold who wound up grounding the Eagles by sweeping the best-of-three NorWOSSA final. Fort High went on to finish fourth at the OFSAA ‘A/AA’ championships later in March in Timmins after losing 2-1 to St. David CSS (Waterloo) in the bronze-medal game.
